“IMMEDIATE ACTION”
It is a program offered by COSTA RICA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE USA, which arises from a deep reflection on a global crisis caused by COVID 19. We look for “achievable” solutions and ideas to revive the economy in South Florida. Our goal is to connect the public and private sectors, share ideas and propose solutions. We will organize meetings and dialogues between business leaders, federal and state officials, experts in economic development and international trade, non-profit organizations, national and binational chambers of commerce, universities, educational institutions and organizations that promote and protect companies and the private sector in general. Our objectives will be measurable, with specific timelines to achieve recovery as soon as possible after suffering so many human, social and economic losses during this crisis.
Some of our objectives are:
- 01Identify immediate and future business opportunities in Florida, with the support of the Economic Development offices.
- 02Identify new business models, innovative processes and technological tools.
- 03Seek government and private aid for economic recovery.
- 04Recover the capital lost during the crisis.
- 05Surviving the commercial sector slump.
ACTION PLAN:
- 01Form business support groups from different sectors.
- 02Define, plan and execute tasks together, for each business sector.
- 03Increase market share.
- 04COSTA RICA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE USA and private sector companies will work hand in hand, disseminating and reaching the largest number of entrepreneurs to inform them about the programs offered by each city.
- 05FORUMS: Create sectorial, virtual forums, starting with those that are at the forefront, for example: the sectors of technology, medicine and health, food, etc., followed by others.
- 06All this using our platform for faster activation.
Together, as a business community, we will implement our objectives and contribute to a rapid economic recovery through the following proposals:
